Sesame Chicken

I made this recipe on my channel a few months ago, and I did not post it. I found this recipe on a great blog “Dinner at the zoo”. I love, the recipes there is real little treasure. Most of the time when I find a recipe, I change it to my taste, never much but a few things that make the recipe a wonder. For this one I didn’t need to change anything, it was just a perfect balance of ingredients. I’m a big fan of the slow cooker especially at the moment, me personally, with the four bambinos all day at home I try to make easy and fast. For that time again it was all that with an excellent taste as well. Ha yes, that’s what I wanted to tell you can very well make this recipe with the pot. Same process just less cooking time

Ingredients for 4-6 people

8 Upper thighs

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt pepper

2 cloves of minced garlic

1/2 Cup ketchup

1/3 Cup soy sauce

1/4 Cup of honey

1 Tbsp Sesame Oil

2 Tbsp of corn starch

3 to 4 Tbsp Water

1 Tbsp sesame seeds

1 Tbsp fresh cilantro

And a little fresh green chili (if that tells you)!

Process

Personally, I didn’t do it, but if you want, you can brown the chicken in the pan before putting it in your slow cooker. Generously salted and peppery chicken. In a bowl mixed together the ketchup, honey, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well, pour over the chicken and cook for 6 hours at low temperature or 3 hours at high temperature. In a bowl, mix the cornstarch together with the water, add it to the sauce and cook for another hour or until the sauce is thick. Finish by adding the cilantro sesame and the green onion. Here I am serving it with simple white rice, but just like that it’s perfect too
