What a delicious treats full of flavor and when the recipe come from Ina Garten it’s even better
It is really not a common treats in France but we must spread it out because it is so so good
If you want the video version of it here it is on my You Tube channel My little ones bake it they had so much fun LOL!!!!
So here it is :
INGREDIENTS
For the Crust
8 oz soft Butter
1/2 cup Sugar
2 cup Flour
For the Filling
6 Eggs
3 cup Sugar
2 tbsp Lemon Zest
1 cup Lemon Juice
1 Cup Flour
Some Powder Sugar
For the Pan, it’s a 9″ x 12″
You’ll serve approximately 12-15 square
Switch on your oven @ 350 F
First the crust :
In a bowl whisk together the Butter and Sugar together add the Flour and just combine all
just don’t mix too much. Spread it over the pan using your finger and let it chill in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes
For the filling:
In a bowl whisk together eggs and sugar until it is really well combined.
Add zest and lemon juice and when everything is mixed all together add the flour
Take off the crust from the fridge and pour the lemon preparation into it.
Shovel for 35-45 minutes ( all oven are different ) So basically the surface needs to be still but the inside very soft. If it is your first time you will think it is not ready but it hardens while cooling.
Drizzle some powder sugar and cut it into 12-15 squares.
Voila enjoy !!!!!
Aurevoir et a tres bientot!!! ( it means ” goodbye and see you very soon ” )
Conservation :
In the fridge 4-5 days very well sealed
